Place: Osumi riverside, between the Hanging bridge and Gorica bridge.

Participators: members of Albania Rafting Group, marathon racer, rafting sport lovers, local and national media, supporters of the association among years and sponsor of activity, guests Albanians and foreign personalities.

Activity: Opening the touristic season of the rafting sport.

Purpose of project:

The opening of rafting season and giving a new image of Berat city, not just a museum city. By this activity, all the protagonists members, give more alternatives for anybody , who wants to explore the beautiful city of Berat.

Objectives:

-    Opening  the season of rafting sport  .
-    Marathon development of rafting sport, for the first time in Albania
-    Message giving: The sport is important for an healthy and beautiful life.
-    Education of citizens for the importance of nature protection and environment protection.
-    The activation of youngest not only in a sport activity, but also  giving to them the opportunity of putting into practice the knowledges in economic and tourism fields.
